To avoid sinking into debt hell
There have been an increasing number of people who are sinking into debt hell due to multiple consumer loans. These people, without careful consideration or planning, buy houses by applying for mortgages at banks, borrow money from consumer finance companies, and use their credit cards. Some of these people end up committing suicide after suffering from debt-collection, and others turn to crime, making debt one of today's most serious social problems.
Using a credit card means you owe money to someone. In recent years, non-Japanese residents have been allowed to get credit cards without any difficulty. Even if you don't have cash, you can purchase things at stores just by presenting your credit card. However, buying products with a credit card is practically the same thing as borrowing money from a consumer finance company in that you are still borrowing money from someone. You still have to pay the money back. Don't let yourself be taken in by someone's sales talk that you can buy this or that for a small monthly payment.
